We are governed by a Board of voluntary Directors and Board Members. None of our Directors or Board members receives payment of any kind for their service to the Mid-Western Cancer Foundation. To ensure transparency, at every Board meeting, the Directors and Board Members present are asked to declare any conflict of interest with the Mid-Western Cancer Foundation.
The Mid-Western Cancer Foundation is fully committed to upholding the highest standards of Corporate Governance and best practices. We believe that maintaining these high standards is integral to demonstrating accountability to those who fundraise and support our charity.
The Mid-Western Cancer Foundation is compliant with the Charities Governance Code and Guidelines for Charitable Organisations on Fundraising from the Public.
In addition, the charity is compliant with relevant obligations under the Companies Act 2014 and the Charities Act 2009. The Foundation prepares an annual report and financial statements in full compliance with the Charities SORP FRS102.

The Mid-Western Cancer Foundation Clg, confirm that the Chairman, all the Directors and all the Board Members of the Foundation are volunteers and do not receive any remuneration. The Foundation also wishes to assure all our donors and fund-raisers that no funds are used for ‘salary top-ups’.
Annual Reports
Mid-Western Cancer Foundation is committed to full transparency and good practice standards in our work and also in our financial accounts. Every year our financial accounts are audited and lodged with the Companies Registration Office in accordance with company law.
