There are many ways to get involved with the Mid-Western Cancer Foundation that can be motivating and rewarding for your staff as well as for your customers.
Charity of the Year Programme
The Mid Western Cancer foundation would love to be considered for your company’s charity of the year programme.
Thanks to the generosity and goodwill afforded the Foundation by the people of the Midwest, we have been able to ensure that the best treatment, cutting-edge technology and cancer services are available to cancer patients in the Midwest. The funds received by the Foundation are always used as efficiently and effectively as possible. Funds are also used for research and education if deemed to be an advantage in the treatment of cancer patients.
As your charity of the year, you would have the satisfaction of observing the benefits of your support while meeting your corporate/social objectives.
Fundraise for Us
Holding a staff fundraising event is a fun, rewarding experience and can make a real difference to the Mid-Western Cancer Foundation. Got an idea for a staff fundraising event? Register your corporate fundraising event here.
Payroll Giving is a great way to make it quick and easy for your employees to engage in the essential work of the Mid-Western Cancer Foundation. Your employees simply make a donation as part of their pay packet. Similar programmes have been proven to boost employee morale and meet CSR objectives – all while helping to support the provision of holistic care for patients with cancer in this region.
Matched giving is where an employer matches the amount an employee has raised or donated. Matched giving by companies boosts the morale of employee fundraisers/donors, as it shows them you are supporting what they do. Employers can match one-off gifts by an individual or match the total money raised from employee fundraising efforts.
The Mid-Western Cancer Foundation relies heavily on the support of the corporate community and we have been so lucky to be supported by many wonderful organisations in the past. A company can claim tax back on any donation of over €250, as if the donation was a trading expense.
